On May 8, 2009 Abbeville Christian Academy played Cornerstone Christian Academy for the 2009 AISA State Baseball Championship. After the series was tied 1-1, both ACA and Cornerstone gathered at Paterson Field near Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, AL to play the final game of the season.
